This is a very special piece to me - the color pallet and composition came from a place I had dreamed of, the painting itself came straight from my mind(no photo reference). Inspired by the sea and it’s many layers-stemmed from my first time seeing bioluminescence. Exaggerated detail for the many folds of water and the surreal element of threads weaving effortlessly. This one was soothing to create and it is truly soothing to the eye. This is an acrylic painting done on a traditional white canvas finished with a spray on top coat.
